Community Hospital 100 balances an intense educational program with an inspiring setting to have some fun too. Our recreational activities include golf and other activities for those looking for a little rest and relaxation.

Williamsburg Tour & Art Show
9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Just one block from the Williamsburg Lodge, you will take a guided tour of the historic streets of the Colonial Capital City. The tour will highlight the history and restoration o Williamsburg and the lifestyle of its people in Colonial America, ending at Williamsburg’s annual “An Occasion for the Arts.“ This outdoor art event features more than 160 painters, print makers, sculptors, jewelers, photographers and other artisans, as well as dance, music, and choral performances. You’ll return to the lodge in time for a BBQ lunch.

Golf Tournament

Golden Horseshoe Golf Club Gold Course
The Gold Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., offers a tight layout and rolling fairways. Designed around a five-acre lake, water elements factor into every shot. The course features dramatic changes in elevation, so expect some interesting fairways. The Gold Course is known for its spectacular collection of par threes—all play over water and requires a strategic shot.
Tour of Jamestown Settlement
12:45 – 4:30 p.m.
Jamestown Settlement is a re-creation of the first permanent settlement in America. Located near the original site, this indoor and outdoor living history museum offers a full-scale re-creation of Powhatan Indian Village, colonial forts, a riverfront discovery area, and replicas of the three English ships that brought the settlers to the New World. Costumed interpreters will share the struggles and successes of the first colonists.
Canoeing
12:45 – 4:30 p.m.
Ready for a quiet day on the water? York River is perfect for outdoor time as you canoe in a park known for its rare and delicate environment, where freshwater and saltwater meet to create a habitat rich in marine and plant life.

Colonial Trivia Challenge
3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Teams will set out into Williamsburg on a unique hunt for trivia related to colonial life—a fun and relaxing way to explore this historic area!
